Silence as Ceasefire

I went on another protest march for a ceasefire. We walked, and then we sat in the road in silence.

This morning I have woken with this in my mind: to sit in peace together is building.

To start somewhere, again and again.

To start.

To try.

What else do we have?

silent stillness with only a wish for wellbeing

we practice ceasefire 

so that we remember

 

we are each other
